Yes, our heavyweight wool blankets are designed for camping, bushcraft and overlanding. Our blankets for camping not only stay warm during cold and wet conditions, but they are also naturally flame-resistant, large (66"x90"), durable and soft.

Does it come with a carrying case?

No, our camping blankets for sleeping don't come with a carrying case. However, our twin wool blanket can be easily rolled or folded for carrying as a backpacking blanket.

Can it be used for picnics?

Absolutely! While intended as a blanket for camping, the durable 80/20 merino blend makes it perfect for use on rough ground without damage. Machine washable, stain-resistance, and self-cleaning against smells, our wool throw is picnic ready.

Does it shed?

A little shedding can be expected when first opened. However, our outdoor blanket is pressed and blow dried to reduce shedding long term. When washed as directed, our blankets shouldn't shrink due to the elasticity of merino wool.
